Xero Validation Error: The field SalesDescription contains invalid characters.

How can this happen?

There are invalid/special characters (usually  < and >) on the service ticket or item/sales description in ConnectWise, breaking the record to be synced.

Solution

Remove invalid/special characters on the ticket or item description. Once removed, re-sync the record.
